Turkey Quinoa Salad

This is SUCH a versatile salad. I always have it with quinoa and turkey but you can also use chicken breast or whatever protein you prefer. The quinoa is nutty, provides one of the healthiest carbs you can eat, and in the end you’re gonna be FULL and satisfied.

Check out my salad dressings section for some of my faves you can try on top of this. Olive oil and balsamic also work just fine but be adventurous and try new dressings and add whatever veggies or fruit you like. Enjoy!

Recipe

Turkey Quinoa Salad

Yield: 1 Serving

Ingredients

5 slices lean turkey breast, no nitrates

1/2 cup cooked quinoa

1 medium tomato

1/2 apple, chopped

lettuce, I mostly use organic Romaine

Feta cheese, crumbled

 

 

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to your bowl

2. Add dressing on top

3. Enjoy!

 

Pro Tip:

Always try to pair protein, carb, fruit, veggies, healthy fats at lunch time. It will give you the FUEL you need for the rest of the day.
