Recipe

The BEST Homemade Popcorn

Yield: Popcorn for 2

Ingredients

1/4 – 1/3 cup organic or non-GMO popcorn kernels

2 tsp oil (our FAVE is Avocado oil…makes it taste buttery & sweet!)

Himalayan pink salt

Optional Maple Corn Version: drizzle of pure maple syrup

Instructions

1. Add popcorn, oil, and sprinkle of salt to the bottom of the popcorn maker. If making the maple corn version (HIGHLY recommended!) then drizzle about 1-2 tsp of the maple syrup on top of popcorn.

2. Swirl around to mix.

3. Put lid on popper, place in microwave, and pop for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or until the popping slows to 1-2 seconds between pops. Be extra careful with the maple version as the sugar will scorch if cooked too long.

4. Remove from microwave, add more salt if needed and enjoy with the most indulgent and best tasting healthy sodas there is…one of THESE!
